"After my studies in accountancy, I started my professional career as an auditing consultant with PriceWaterhouseCoopers in Africa first and then in Europe. As well as the technical aspects, I’ve experience in the oil industry, I understand the importance of a robust administrative and financial organization to achieve performance.
After six years, wishing to move from a consultant position closer to the technical field, I took the Geoservices position and worked first as a Financial Controller for western Africa and then on the application of the International Financial Reporting Standards to the Geoservices Group.
I asked the Head Office to be trained in the oilfield techniques of mud logging, knowing that an understanding of the field is necessary for this job.
With the objective of obtaining the Data Engineer position within 2 years, I did an intensive training course under the responsibility of the South Asia District. I shared my time between offshore and onshore rotations, through contact with mud logging enhanced services ( EKD, PreVue, etc.), District operational activities (follow-up of schedules, safety, etc.) and extensive training in the Geoservices Training Department.
Today as a Data Engineer, I am based in mud logging operations within the Mediterranean District.
Geoservices offers rare opportunities in the industrial world. It is more common to see operational employees moving to an administrative function than the opposite. However Geoservices employs people of all backgrounds ready to overcome challenges, rich in experience and ready to pass on their indispensable knowledge. Will, sharing and performance are the necessary virtues to work at Geoservices. "
